Scarlett Johansson and and Lulu Gainsbourg's 'Bonnie and Clyde' » Gossip - Now that Scarlett Johansson has reportedly landed a staggering $20 million contract for the upcoming Avengers sequel, it's unlikely she'll have much time to record a follow up to her 2008 cover album Anywhere I Lay My Head. Johansson's starkly sensual voice does appear on a new release this year, however: She recorded a duet with Lulu Gainsbourg, son of the late Serge Gainsbourg, for his upcoming tribute album to his father.

Scarlett and Lulu's version of "Bonnie and Clyde" differs very little from the 1968 original, which featured Brigitte Bardot in the blonde bombshell vocal role. It's smoother, mellower, but not quite as sexy. Blame it on the English translation.

Lulu Gainsbourg's From Gainsbourg to Lulu, out October 30 on MBM Records, features a special collection of collaborations featuring Rufus Wainwright, Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis, and Iggy Pop, among others. Gainsbourg and special guests will perform select shows behind the album in New York City this winter.
